Hello Everybody !
I want to know anybody out there having any info abt Department of Financial studies , South Campus ,Delhi university. For a guy very much interested doin MBA in finance .. How is it ?

hi dude...
dfs or department of financial studies was set up in 1987 its flagship course being mfc frm this year we are planning to start up wth another course called mif ie masters in international finance...
we have a batch strength of 30 students admisson being on the basis of a national entrance exam...
we have a divesrse batch which has a healthy mix of ppl frm the since stream as well as frm commerce and arts...
our usp is our faculty which is probably the best in india and at par wth iims...it helps that we have a small batch of 30 students so there is greater interaction btween the proffesors and the student as they can pay individual attention to u....
the placements have been gr88 this year the avg was 7.25 and highest was 9.8.amongst the companies we had on campus this year citigroup,kotak,icra jp morgan chase,client associates,standard charterd were a few of them...

Hey Thanx a lot Ankit for the valuable info .. I suppose u r pursuing the course over there ..I needed some more info .. What abt the National entrance test? When is it conducted & what is the pattern ?? I wud b grateful to u for some guidance regarding this ..
Regarding Myself I hav done BTech in Computer Engineering from NIT,Jaipur & presently working with Impetus,Noida.

hry man.. u dnt need to thnk me...the national entrance test is 2 hour test wth 240 qstns wth sections on maths ,gk,di and english..the level of difficulty is okey types..its held on the last or second last week of january...
ur profile is good...if u gt thru ur written u stand a good chance of gtn thru...

first of all i m sorry fr being late in replyn to ur query..dude i dnt have the qstn papers fr last year ya bt i belive time gves out the papers frm dfs under its omet exam series...
