Also, there are links to individual institutes on this site.
Also, there are threads specifically related to SIBM, SCMHRD and other Symbiosis institutes. Please go through them.

Hi
I heard that there are essays for IIFT and FMS ...IS it true and does it count when they are giving a call or do they matter only during GD/PI?

your other question about difference between XAT, JMET & CAT.
JMET maths is quite higher compared to CAT,
and XAt english & Maths is too tough compared to CAT, it includes inetgration, derivatives, advanced trigonometry and English will have questions about author's and pasage's tone.
easier for the B.A. (English) students.

Hello friends
Dun get intimidated by the fact that the Quant sec is on the tougher side in JMET.
Fact remaining that the section may be on the tougher side but best part is that until last year JMET had no sectional cutoff.
Last year, the JMET had introduced sectional cutoff but it seems dat they did not consider it while giving calls for gd/pi. Rest apart, the quant section was on the easier front wid very few questions from Mod Maths ... hence, it was was a pressure relief valve for the new asspirants..
so my suggestion wud be to put ur full effort widout getting waved away by such figures.
All the Best.
