I had my interview today in the 9AM batch. GD was a 10min one on whether globalisation was hurting Indian cultural values. Nobody really had too much content, and by the end we were just rehashing our own earlier points!

The Interview was most incredible. It lasted all of 4 (yes, FOUR!) minutes!!! I was asked to speak on "Mathura-Brindavan". I spoke for about 20 sec., and then I didn't know any more.

I was asked about my non-academic achievements in school and I talked about my tennis playing days. They asked me the meaning of my name.

Then, One of the interviewers asked 3 questions on Operations Research and the interview was finished!

my GD/PI was yesterday..
topic was Indo-Pak series improves relations
became a sort of fish market but tahts good i suppose.
and the interview was really silly, i think it was just a formality for me. extempore was on festival of colors. then they asked me if i'd taken any coaching for CAT, and also if i'd taken coahing for GD/PI. said yes to the first and no to the second. then they asked which part of the paper i found toughest. i said quant..then they asked diff b/w reserve bank and state bank.
waht do you guys think? i think they had some time to kill, so they chatted with me.

mine was 2 pm batch yesterday
started at 2.40 gd topic --human cloning-it shouldnt be opposed........gd was pretty cool everybdy got the chance to speak....
then came my biggest apprehension the extempe---and my topic was "jalianwala bag" was able to speak for 1 minute bt wasnt able to structure my thoughts properly.
interview started
tell me abt your academic achiements
how copyrights are done in india
leadership qualities(this goof up i did in my sop itself..........so dont worry)
bye bye

dont really know what to expect was finished off in 4-5 minutes if ne old timers can put some light on :-)

frm what i was told at fms by seniors there,the results will b on net tonite.so i guess 2day is the judgement day.any definite news abt the results?

interviews end at 6:30 ....result will be out by 7:30 <in the college>
it will be availble on the net tomorrow
