Well the selection ration in our batch was slightly more that 1:12 (200+ were invited). All selected members ll go thru all the rounds. In our batch v were a group of 8 members per GD/PI
Practise school allows you to give preference to the companies of ur choice among the pool of companies but for gettin what you wanted as the first choice ll depend on ur performance (if u r a topper in MBA batch u r bound to get what u want other wise based on the choices made by all the people who scored above u, u ll get allocated-say no one(who scored above u) opted for the company u opted then u ll get it allocated. BITS runs purely on merit
I ve got cal for GD/PI to be held on july27.
I hav some doubts :
1)is this course intended mainly for IT field?? What is the scope for studying other subjects like finance/marketing (as mentioned in the course curriculum) ?
2)Can you tell me how good is this course in terms of faculty ,course content and value addition.

I have few queries about a particular course (MBA in Engineering & Technology), I would be grateful if seniors of this prestige college and well informed people can through light on it.
My friend has done his Engineering in mechanical stream and is been working for the past 2 years in a well known automobile firm. His major interest is to do MBA related to operations.
Now my query is whether this course will add on value to his career?
Will this be fuelling his passion and interest?
Can he leave his present job and march forward to take up this course?
