I had paid 37500 as 1st installment fees to an institute that had a "No Refund" policy and then forfeited the amount after I secured admission to a better B School. But after i sent them a fax along with a copy of this notification, i recieved a cheque for 36500 within a week.
So if you intend to change Institutes after paying some money to the first one, remember, the institute can keep ONLY 1000/- and HAS to refund the rest to you.
