   if this is the kind of profile , we guys have got..placement should not b an issue for us ..we can probabely break 25 lacs barrier next yr..come on guys..we need to make it..let's join d course..guys who have crossed the fence and decided to join can share their fundas and can motivate fence-sitters to jump onto IMT..cheers!!!

where r the other guys ...they must have selected at least 40 guys ...that means we have another ~30 guys who have not dropped into this thread as yet...guys plz tell whomever u know to plz come and join this thread..we can then only have a fair idea abt the complete batch profile..today i've taken one more step..approached SBI, ICICI and HDFC for enquiring about educational loan...experience was not good...cud not make much progress..one thing for sure..getting a loan these days is not as easy as it was two three years before..i will again meet the bank officials tomorrow ..if anybody has made any progress in this ..pl let the group know.

Could any one find out any bank offering edu loan less then 12.75%? Also, would it be a good idea to go in for floating?

i called up sbi at gaziabad.they told me that presently they r santioning loans for the two year course at imt.they r not sanctioning it for exect course,imt nagpur course,imt dubai course.but they said that these are under consideration and the decision pertaining to exec mba wud be taken in 10-12 days.for the last batch they had sanctioned it for the exec batch as well but this year there seems to be some change in policy.i was thinking if v cud get it from the same local branch it wud be easier in future to follow up for subsequent installments.sbi has two category of loans-scholar loans(for this u do not need any guaranteer and these r give to inst like iims,iits,nitie etc unfortunately imt does not figure in this list) and the other is educational loans( for this v wud need the guaranteer,his salary slips etc).v wud come under the second category but it takes atleast 6-8 days to get it sanctioned.so folks i think as 11th is approaching fast v may have to pay the first installment ourselves and simultaneously carry on the bank procedure.ne other info pl update.cheers santosh
