well, prankster u still havent mentioned teh reason for calling siib hopeless. is it purely coz of placements there?? i talked to 2 seniors frm same collge and they had pretty good things to say abt college including its placements.
u see there si also one more thing, there is this backlog system in symbi(failing) and ist like ppl who flung rnt eligible for campus placements.
so iin case ur opting for refund... which is college u have opted for?

was out of this discussion for a while... now fell that shd get involved... this is a personal experience wth the seniors of SIIB when i went to deposit the fee... i knew no body there.. i just caught one hostelite and ask if i could meet a SIIB student... ( the hostel is combined for SCMHRD,SIIB,SCIT) .... the person whom i met was in fnal year his exams ended on 6th march and was about to leave the campus that very eve.... well he said... kapil.. after joining a inst of symbiosis its all becomes the duty of inst to provide u a good campus ... and also MR. PRANKSTER i think u have never been to the SIIB campus or u would have not said such thing... and ofcourse there are students from IIM A who r not able to get any campus selection, so because of that students u cant say that IIMA is bad ... the senior u talked may be not able to get proper CGPA over there... or was not good in the interviews he faced... please talk to him once again and some qu. like

1) was not a single company came for the interview??
2)how many of his batch got campus selected??
3)how many company HR's he himself faced ???
4)how was his performance in SIIB ??

all i want to say is that the data u r providing to the group is pretty old... if u remember 2 yrs back because of the reccession in the economy even IIM's and IIT's were not able to provide 100% campus... and i dont disagree is that SIIB has a much lower status than these colleges but still pretty respectful one...

MR PRANKSTER if u really want to know about the placement scenario... do talk to students who r passing from SIIB this yr. and i hope many of your mis understandings will be properly taken cared off....

Th quality of life u can get in symbi..
u cant get that in ICFAI hyd n UBS. dont know about fore. This is wut i have surveyed.
Since B-school does not mean everything in plaxcement terms.
It wut u learn n wut kinda life u live which will be influencing your future too.
