It will be difficult to make comparision between IITD n XIMB to say wh is better..
Both B-schools have their uniqueness..Infracturewise both are good...Both have a good brand....Quality of educationwise no doubt XIMB is good but being a govt college IITD in no way far behind XIMB...IITD is also good....

If you see the placement figures,you can find a very very thin difference between these two...Placement wise both r nearly equal...I am giving u the figures...

Decision is up to u to decide whr to go...both r good...Decide which college is suitable for u.....once again go thru the sites of both college...only placement report is not enough....

So now decide whr to join u future mgr!!!!

One more think I would like to say you. This is my personal opinion. Not based upon any relevent data like my previous post.

IITs are famous for B.Techs...It is always better to go for an institute which is specialize in MBA..XIMB provides only this...

and one more psychological aspect is in IITs one may get less attention as an MBA student but in an MBA insti like XIMB or SIBM one can get more attention...

There is always a difference between doing doing a B.Tech from IIT and doing an M.Tech(or B.Sc) from the same IIT...So always go for the course in an insti for wh it is well known...

I think IITs are better known for providing the best Technical degrees in India..So the IIT brand is meant for the B.tech ppl....

Again I am saying this is my personal opinion...It's your call to decide...

For studying business go to a institute which brands itself as a business school and not as a techinal institute provided metrices like quality of learning , traction in industry (placements), alumni network, quality and diversity of peer group remain comparable.
