It is not equivalent to Aicte, but it is authorised to issue degrees under the U.P Act ,AICTE is a governing body that accredits institutions according to its regulations

Look into or search forums on aicte it can give you a clear picture

As for AICTE, the MBA does not need AICTE approval. It is fully recognised by the Government.

top salaried went upto 25 lakhs. If you have the potential, you will do amazing at Amity
buddy for yours kind information AICTE IS GOVT NODAL ORGANIZATION.ITS NOT RECOGNIZED BY GOVT,SO DO NOT MISGUIDE FUTURE ASPIRANTS,AND ONE REALITY THEIR AVERAGE PLACEMENT IS AROUND 3.5 AND NOT 5.AS FAR AS TOP INDIAN SALARY HIGHEST IN INDIA AND THATS OBVIOUSLY FOR IIM IS 17 LAKHS ,YOU MIGHT BE TALKING ABOUT FOREIGN PLACEMENT WHICH OBVIOUSLY WILL BE HIGHER, DO NOT TAKE ANY OFFENCES I WAS JUST TELLING FACTS,STILL I RATE AMONG BEST IN MAT

listen honey, An university is recognised by govt. as an "university", which should be as par UGC guidelines.AND AMITY IS RECOGNISED BY GOVT. AS AN UNIVERSITY.an university can give the degree & conduct any program.

Got it? Great.
Now aicte.....
its to do with a specific course,u 'll never hear an IIM is AICTE approved,no - the PGDBM in IIM is AICTE approved.so basically AICTE approves a course when it falls into their guidelines(the way they want the course to be - in india). & AMITY's COURSE STRUCTURE MAYN'T HAVE FALLEN UNDER THEIR GUIDELINES.SO THE MBA REGULAR COURSES ARE NOT AICTE APPROVED.
so what we learnt from this, we learnt that AMITY's degree will be recognised everywhere as it is a genuine univ. , but the STANDARD of the course comes under observation due to lack of AICTE approval.
by the way do u know by any way on this mother earth? - AMITY's MBA 3yr. part-time course is AICTE approved ? ya, u've read it right.
