hi, i am from chennai and i have applied. how do they intimidate us on the details of when we can take the gd/pi?

ok heres a walkthrough of what happens:
1. they send you an email/call you on your mobile 3-4 days before your gd-pi session informing you as to the venue and time of your gd-pi session, so please keep your lines open and keep checkin your mail
(the gd-pi batches are normally 3, in kolkata was held in 3 batches of 10 students each 9 am,1 pm, 5pm and is held over 2 days = 6 groups)
2. as soon as you reach the venue your academic documents only are verified
3. the gd session is a typical one which lasts for abt 15 mins. - the panel is really friendly and does their best to make you feel at ease and normally give topics which the froup will have an overall consensus (however 1-2 topics were a bit dicy) on so as not to make it an all out fish market
4. gd was surprisingly very relaxed
5. you are called in for your pi one by one - interviews normally are focussing on extra curricular activities - in my case no technical questions related to my field of computers (once again panel is great and excellent and make you feel wanted - which makes you fall in love with the praxis experience even more)
6. you can leave as soon as your pi is over
7. wait for an email which will be sent to you the same night arnd 9:30 pm - 10:00 pm confirming whether a) have been selected b) have been put on the waiting list - no idea if they send reject mails - am really happy i got selected - another interesting thing is that kolkata was the 1st center i feel for the interviews - correct me if am wrong and i was the 1st person to be interviewed on the 1st day, 1st group only so am even more happy
8. formal letter stating details on how to go ahead for the admission and advances to be made should be sent to you over next 3-4 days.

excellent campus which am sure is one of a kind in india if not asia and afterall is the same designer as isb, faculty is great and reputed and very very friendly and down to earth and trust me kolkata rocks...

those of you who are worried abt placements - well there are 2 ways to look at it :
a) since they are new, placements will be bad as noone knows about them
b) since they are new, placememnts will be great as am sure praxis will go all out to place us really well so that their name grows and with the dean being a former placement cell head at ximb for 15 years am sure placements will be a breeze

am really impressed by the whole praxis experience so far and am loving every minute of it....

hi sean i had my gd pi on the 7th at 2 pm....i also liked the process and the faculty think ill join it if my other options dnt fall thru...r u sure abt joining praxis..by the way wats ur name dude....

this is fr all the ppl who have applied fr praxis an have there gd and pi pls dnt make the gd a fish market 1 and also just relax guys the interview is gnna be mre of a frmal chit chat types....so relax and chill...if theresn anythng u ppl wanna knw gt in touch wth me illl help u ppl out...

Hi, since this is a relatively new b-school, no-one has any clue about the placements. that makes it really risky. I'm interested in finance, does anyone have any idea what kind of placements can we get in finance sector after passin out. Also, is ITM mumbai good enuf for finance??
