Hello everyone.. I am Heena and I have got a call from Alliance through XAT...( I got 92%ile and dnt have any work ex)...I have my interview on 5th march...I know its a li'l late but plz try and help me with your experice and the topics of extempore...is it general or abstract or opinion base??plz plz plz help.. Heena

Heena | Hi Heena..i 2 got call from Alliance but most probably not attending on 5 march..as far as xtempore/pi exp. r concerned i think it starts frm 5th march omwards or at least 2-3 days b4 that cos i hv come in contact with few who r also having dates on 5th..but based on my few frnds exp. of extempo/pi n even mine--In extempo the panelists look for attitude/public speaking,confidence level,coping up with unxpected situation(if u get an abstract/vague topic for xtempore)..n min. weightage to content..so now i think u can hav the logic behind xtempore..be updated with atleast 10 days news paper prior to ur pi date..hav ur petrsonal views on rail /general budget,cauveri issue etc..pi again mostly cjudged on the above parameters with a few questn frm ur acads/work exp.believe me gettimg in2 any good B Schools is not by answering every question right but by replying modestly not knowing the ans in a well managed way. ALL THE BEST TO U!!!!!

hey kaushik...
thank u very much for ur valued suggestion...but pardon me coz i need to ask again,how difficult is the interview or the extempore..do they focus on abstract topics or opinion based in extempore and whats the time duration of it...
plz pardon me for my naivety but how do i tell them that i dnt knw the answer in a well managed way...i m new to this so plz help me...

Heena | as far as my exp is concerned in icfai, panelists didnt ask me/or anyother members of my group frm our related topics(it as a micropresentation)...someone who attended amrita xtempore/pi also share the same exp. now regarding answering questions u dont know--c i m also a newbee as far as gd/presentation/pi is concerned....vl pm u my exp. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes |  Linear Mode |
