Oh no not again . Got 88.92%ile in XAT but couldn't get the GD/PI calls of both GIM and LIBA. I think with increasing average pay packages (that are being offered in these colleges) the cutoff marks are also increasing every year.

hey guys congrats to all those who made it and

for those who didn't make it don't loose hopes.

about GD usually it will be a 10 to 15 minutes GD with mostly general topics will be judged by a panel of usually three members. be well versed with the current happens and have an opinion about them thats the only thing you can prepare for the group discussion.

then there is a personal interview taken by the same panel usually which will mostly concentrate on why you want to do an MBA, career plans, academics, and such things. those with work experience will be asked mostly about your job responsibility, and the business the company is in.

There is no specific weightage usually given to different parts as in the academics, the GD, the PI , the entrance exam performance. What LIBA looks at is a whole rounded personality not just a single aspect and the college philosophy has been to develop individuals and hence usually has no break ups as in which component will be weighed how much.

so essentially all those shortlisted are at an equal footing at this stage of the admission process the GD in delhi and calcutta will be around 16th march to 23rd march and the GD at Chennai will be after 23rd march the dates are not a sure thing just wait for a mail from Mr. Rajeshvar or admissions @ liba .edu which will tell about the date and time of the interview with the location so be sure before you delete any mails even your junk mail ids because during our admissions i had the mail in the junk folder in both indiatimes as well as rediffmail so beware of deleting the junk folder without checking the mails
DONT DELETE THE JUNK FOLDER AND CHECK OUT ANY MAILS FROM
