Any insight into the 1 yr PGPIM course conducted by IMI ? Whats the accreditation, placements, etc.

I too have read bout the programs......
I strongly believe such 1 years executive MBA targetting ppl with 3 + to 5+ years of work ex is the next big thing to happen in Inidan MBA education........

I thnk thy r not asking for GMAT scores n and have the test of their own...

Though its a new program can somem 1 pls give the insight into the program........

Hi! Guys,
I need some valuable suggestion / advice from all of you on the following matter.
I have 5 years of work-exp and i have got selected in 1 year PGPIM Program of IMI -New delhi, where min work ex reqd was 5 yrs. I want to know about how well the course is for ppl with work exp(as of structure) , placement records and industry recognition wise?
Any thoughts?

Hey,

I have also been admitted to PGPIM at IMI, so would really appreciate any comments and thoughts abt the program and the placements scenario in general.
I guess that this is the second year that placement assistance is being provided for this program.
Also does IMI has any tie up with a bank to provide loan assistance and whats the procedure as first installment needs to be paid by 25 may?

People studying at IMI ,would really appreciate your assistance!

Hi ,
Even i am selected for PGPIM program. I have 3 yrs of work exp. I am joining this year. I am taking risk i hope but even then i don't want to waste 2 yrs for for PGP program. I hope companies are now regonizing 1 yr program. I hope it wud be worth for our money. No one from IMI had responed that's bit scaring me. If any one can shows us the clear picture that wud be great. I hope last yr one of the PGPIM student is placed at Accenture with 9.5 lak package, but again i donot know how many years of exp he wud have had ?? I kindly request some one from IMI to respond.Do companies like INFY,CTS,TCS recrut from this program????!!!!!!!

Hi!,
IMI has tie up with Indian Bank which is close to the institute and they furnish us a letter for getting assistance from thr.The Bank will take some 7 working days for processing the loan and needs some docs.Also rate is 10.5% and for 4L loan the emi is around INR8200/-.Also, wanted to know, if recognition from Ministry of HRD is sufficient and also I am getting skeptic of them not publishing the results anywhere .
Any thoughts?

guys,any news of whether PGPIM program of IMI has been approved by AICTE or not?
It will be good to know this as the date to pay the first installment of tuition fees is near now!

hey mates..

Well PGPIM of IMI is now going to be called as PGP-Ex and it has been approved by AICTE
The course is pretty good and placements are expected to be at a level comparable to any other PGP-Ex across B-Schools in India
