THe MHROD course is an HR course which I needed - hence was a bit down - neway yeah SIBM is some comfort - but only temporarily...

And one more thing - I must say there are a lot of gals in both da XL's... looks like da lasses have beaten out the lads in this exam... - n i tot it was a real toughie in terms of speed and GK...

oye this is wt v gus calculated yesterday..in mib list..out of total 204 ppl called, 47 girls..so thats nt a that good ratio.....cz effectively it comes out to b 9 gals in a class of 40..n presently also, v hv juzz 8 among 40

gd pi wud b carried out in last week of march..
one of the imp things is ur academic record..if u hv consistent acads thru out, one of ur worries is solved..if u dont, thn u need to impress the panel with ur knowledge of ur subject..work really hard on things in which u r weak ( my personal interview exp)

my interview was onn 26th frb.bt sorry to post in noww...:sad:

got up at 8, got ready n reached the DSE (delhi school of economics) campus by 8.50..(i knw..its late).. met fireinince there..n later another pgite annika..


then v started looking fr the hall we had to report in n finally reached there sharp at 9..saw some familiar faces there.. after a bit of gossiping n formalities, we were taken to the GD room (fr MIB). there were 9 of us n v were asked to give a brief introduction. After that, i was called upon to pick up a chit, which had our topics n the toic was "MONEY IS THE BEST MOTIVATOR".. all of us were asked to give our individual views one-by-one and then open GD for 12-15 mins. All in all, it was a good Gd.. THen we had a presentation by a student, which was cut-short by a hot-headed professor of thre, who was running around like anything in the campus!and then, interviewswere conducted..n as usual..i ws the last person to b interviewd..(arggh..)..but since v had 2 panels this time, it did not take much time.. newayz, my on,. came n the interview was like::


P1: plz have a seat
me: thnx sir
p2 (very cute looking young guy): bang on with the economics questions..
Me: answered..

answered
P3: to add to my misery, more eco questions..
Me: thankfully knew them, so answerd
P4 (yeaahh...4 ppl): WHY IB.? why MBa? blah blah...

then i was given one hypothetical situation that if u wud b a biz mngr in a company n blah-2 n iws wondering whether i had come to take admission in mba or teach MBa students..??


finally intrview over fr MIB n v were given 2 hour break fr MHROD interview..actually break ws fr them ,so tat they could gorge on the lunch..all of us (i guess 12-15 ppl) moved to the nearest fast food joint n had either ice-cream, cola, pizza, lassi..wtever..wen v cam bck, those sickos had juzz started thre lunch..n they knew tat kids have already eaten something from outside, still asked whether v wud like to hv nething... doofus!!!
after some time, v were taken fr our MHROD gd, n thats when my miseries started.. topic ws "SOCIALISM IS DEAD IN INDIA"..n i dont even remember what crap i sadi in te g.d.. man! it was totally mayhem,coz nobody knew what they were saying..i was already in dreamland.. it finished off sumhow and thankfully i was nt asked to summerize...phewww.....


then again..waited fr MHROD interview to take place.. last one to go, but my friend waited fr me..:smile:
and horrendous interview.. they asked questions from that subject of my final year, in which i had barely passed (inspite of having a really high aggregate)..n all the shit in the world.. n me totally lost.. had a heated discussion on CHILD LABOUR..n feminism n men-women equality..n another hypothetical situation on HR..
ohh god! totally freaked out..

if u going fr only mib/mhrod, thn only 1 gd, 1 pi.

infrastructure,,yes 1 building..3 floors..bt mate..they r more thn enough.. v require juzz 4 classrooms..mib-seniors & juniors n mhrod- S & J
besides that, v hv our own computer lab, state of the art seminar room, placement co-ord's office.., our administrative office, rooms fr m.com ppl...staff n faculty hv got thre own personal rooms..n yes..v hv our student body rooms also..still it leaves us with few spare rooms at times..
our new HOD..mr sanjay Jain is very student supoortive..he is developing a new committee room, whre u ppl's int n all wud take place..n aftr that it wud b used fr student body works..

college looks fr a varied profile...v have a mix of commerce, economics, physics, chemistry, b.tech, english hons. guys.. some hv more thn 3 yrs work ex ..sum hv nil..

i guess they'll take place sometime b/w 19th and the 23rd of march.. hey can all the call getters plz post frm where all do they have calls othr than D-School...

that way we have a fair idea how many are gonna join if they convert it..

and plz someone throw some light on the placement scenario for MIB AND MHROD ppl..
