Surprising that they did not choose people with 370 rank, 329 rank etc. I got a call with 393rd rank. Does that mean they went thru the SOP etc? On what basis did they reject people with better ranks. I always thought IITB and IITD does not look into profiles while calling for interviews.

My profile had a diversity quotient of being a Sales Engineer from a Manufacturing industry background and I wrote a very straight-on-the-face SOP as to why I wanted an MBA. Dunno whether it mattered. 18 months work ex and batch 2005 NITT passout.

me also thru with an AIR 162.

my GD/pi is slated on 24th of FEB,1200 pm.can any1 plz tell me till what date will IITD conduct its GD/PI?on23rd,i've NMIMS gdpi in kolkata.it'll tough to get there by 24th provided i don't take a flight.can't it get it postponed to a later date say 26th of FEB?plz do reply if any1 faces a similar situation.

i must admit that this years cut-off ranks for all the iits are very very high compared to last years......
