Without any bias, I would have to say that there is some real talent for media in this batch.
And I assure you we have an even better Finance magazine, which should be up on the IIFT website by tomorrow or so. I say this with a lot of bias, since I'm one of the editors.

Hi!
Maybe this is kinda optimistic but i have a query regarding the bank loans. My problem is that i have a bond with my company of around 70k and i need to pay it off before they let go of me. So would the bank include this amount in the loan given?
Also, i guess the major expenses could be summed up as
1) Fees
2) Hostel+mess
3) Bond
4) Laptop
5) Daily expenses
After a rough estimation the total amount comes out to around 6 lakhs(please correct me if i am wrong or have forgotten something). Of these how many heads would the bank be willing to finance?

Hello All!
I am not here to Spam or speculate results date again!
A small tip to all. It works for me.Whenever the results are out, whenever it may be do the following before seeing:
1. Think of the best moments of your life
(could be anything.. your first bike ride, your results, your first love, your first salary, a beautiful smile you cant forget, the look on ur parent's face when you made them proud.. so on.. recollect all!)
2. Think of the BESTEST moment.
(Pick the best one and relish it for few more seconds. Talk to yourself and recollect how happy you were)
3. Now just speak to yourself, will the result of IIFT make a difference to your past happiness bank?
(some things cant be changed,some things are'nt in ur hands, but WILL and COURAGE is always yours!)
4. VERY IMP : Speak to GOD
(Thank him for the past moments and ask him from the bottom of your heart to award you the seat only if you deserved one!)
5. Result
IF YES == You have performed ur best
IF NO == GOD wants you to get into IIM!! IIFT is not worth you!
Cheer up you have not performed to ur potential!!!!
