Does anyone have an idea abt when does the DSE's Forms for their MA (Eco) Programme are out? :

I know that their website has info on their MA programs. They even have an online prospectus you can download along with info on how to prepare,syllabus, etc. Their MA program is very good. They even have one in econometrics. You can also mail them and they do respond. Go to the website....you'll get your answers.

the forms will be out in may,exam will be in june end.
MA(eco) from DSE is no doubt a good deal.

thanks for the info. Do u have an idea on what is their test pattern like?
Is it typically the Aptitude test? or is there also some Eco/ Higher Quant or stats also that is a part of the test? i looked thru thweir website and it had their 2003 info. Nothing abt 2004 notice.

The test paatern is not a kind of aptitude test but it is serious Economics stuff.......it consists of Statistics,Microeconomics,Indian Economy,Macro................and year after year the admission is becoming more & more competitive neways best of luck...............BTW whts ur background...

if u r in delhi,then when the forms will be out,u may go to the d'shl & buy the set of last yrs papers(somewhat like 10 yr papers) from dshl's photostat shop.

as mohit said the paper is totally based on eco.,stress is on micro,macro,stats,maths.
but if u have a decent % in 1st&2nd yr,& r thourugh with the subjects u can easily crack it.

when forms r out,it is notified in the main daily so dont worry u wont miss the form.

right now more impt is ur third yr,concentrate hard on it.

i'v also been looking at applying to dse ... reg purchse of past yrs papers, where xactly r they available, and r they available all thru the yr or only around the time of application?

the thing is i may b in delhi nxt month ... so i wanna know if i can pick them up then ...

one more thing ... how is the appln process for other colleges in DU? like lsr and stephens? coz i hv been trying to access the DU website but the site never loads ....

regarding the last 7-8 yrs papers,u can go to d'schls photostat shop,& get them.the shop is in the campus itsef.d'schl is in north campus,for complete add. visit its site.
it has around 150 seats,1st 70-75 students r admitted in d'schl,&rest take adm in other colleges like stephens,hansraj etc.
