hi manasi,if ur looking for hard core HR, i guess u shd try for XLRI, TISS and Symbiosis. IIFM does offer a major in development but specifically HR there is nothing.. will have 2 ask d seniors for more clarity on this. ur interested in social activities?? i didnt understand dis line.. do u want to join an NGO after mgmt?? is tat wat u meant.. yeah tat ways IIFM will possibly stand u in good stead. how is iifm?? well difficult to sum up in a few lines.. so u got to ask more specific stuff. any kind of work ex helps always... if not technically u definitely will know how d corporate world works, but i guess it wont mk too much of difference in admissions here. go to IIFM website.. we just uploaded newer stuff.. will resolve most of ur doubts regarding courses offered. and for more on the intricacies get back to me.. u can also PM me if u wantRegards,Indro

Hi ,
How far does an IIFM alumni stand a chance to make it to the Core forest sector. I read that people with knowledge of forest management will be in great demand in the future (due to Kyoto Protocol, carbon emission and all those stuff). So considering all the international challenges ahead how far is an IIFM Graduate equipped to get into all these global roles.
Does IIFM students get into core sector Jobs too.

firstly thanks for your interest in IIFM. well how much chance does an IIFMite stand to get into core forestry... i think he/she's got the maximum chance.. i mean ders no other college here dealing with such subjects as directly as this. also if u look at the plcmnts of IIFMites over d years the international plcmnts have happened in the forestry sector. Olam for example is a regular visitor to our campus. and with the seriousness with which the Environment sector is growing .. Kyoto n Bali n CCs IIFM has moulded its course outlay into 3 specific majors from the batch passing out in 2009. hence each one here is striving to the make the maximum of the global developments and get into these core global roles.. u can also check up the places where our alumni are placed and make judgements for yourself.
