I guess no one's read my long-drawn reply, huh? Neways, here's a short one: For the GD, u don't need to prepare ne special topics... just the ones u do for ne other institute. Knowledge of carbon trading is a 'plus', not a necessity... If at all, it will be helpful in the interview. That too, not very sure.

VA score will, in all probability, pose a problem. Keep ur fingers crossed. The admission cell generally calls ne1 with 55 in each section without seeing the workex or such other details...

hi seniors...
i have done b.tech( mechanical engg.@ NIT). and then have a year of work ex with infy.
my verbal score was heart breaking(just 3%centile  , total 86%tile ). i know its hard but still i am hoping for the call...kindly tell abt the kind of interview questions which a mechie can face..

I think guys are cooling off after placements, so let me take the gauntlet. If you get a call, just focus on the basic stuffs required for any b-school gd/pi. In past, engineers have been given some mathematical probs to solve, but that depends entirely on who are in your interview panel. Otherwise its pretty much same. Get ready for questions like why forest management after engineering and how you relate your background to forestry and development sector.
One advice, being honest reaps good dividends, so do not fake anything.
I think for more you can see the earlier post by Sid and his batchmates.
