hi, my frnd nas got a waiting list. 66 in IIFM, his cat percentile was 89, apart frm this he has a Work Ex. of abt 5 years in TATA STEEL, what is opinion abt the feasibility of his comfirmation.

hi frnds...i am in waitlist 60...my only neraest chance of this season...can seniors tell me whether there is any slightest possiility of getting final call as i heard that last year,the last fellow who got call had a waiting list of 70+ and this year the number of seats are increased so is there any chance for me.

Though I am not sure about someone getting in with waiting list 70+ rank, but yes you are right, this year the intake has been increased so there might be more ppl from waiting list getting in..
there are also factors like timing of result ... i think this year they have declared the result quite early.. earlier they used to take lots of time so most of the ppl in final list were already enrolled with other insts...

i made it to iifm but just little confused??: wheather to join or not?
so plz guide me wat exactly forest mgmt is all abt? i mean wat kindda job profile u get? is it only forest related or sumthng else as well..? and also howz d placement scene????

seniors could you please confirm....we're getting conflicting facts..someone saying tht last year the last candidate to get in was waiting 30 whereas someone else is saying it was waiting 70...

make up your mind.. what kind of job you want..and what kind of career you want to pursue.. regarding placement scene you can see the placment news at pagalguy (last two years placements)
