hey plz can anybody tell me bout the affiliation thing at christ college.have heard that those 60 seats will be offered to only those people who hve given kmat and others will b given seats in the other course which gives distance learning degree.plz reply asap.

as far as i know they have 60 seats under bangalore university.but for people outside the state they take them under pondicherry university.hope this helps.

though we need to remember roughly 30 seats are in the open category.

ABA , has higher fees , seems to have a better average placement scenario.in fact some of my friends seem to be in favour of ABA alot as they say , from this year onwards they are inviting only those companies who are offering atleast 4.5 ... cant say whats the truth , but i put up simply because i guess someone will be able to clarify the true story of ABA.

even i think that alliance has better placements.but christ with 3 lacs course fees is very tempting.the whole problem lies in christ college insisting the payment of 1.5 lacs rs within 7 days.so the question remains is christ that good to commit 1.5 lac within 7 days and shut out other options like icfai and alliance.

whats the criteria for getting a GD/PI call from Christ college,
I got 95.19%tile in MAT and have still now recieved call for GD/PI....Can anyone tell me the reason why have i not got the call....

the cut offs is 600.dont wait for the call.simply apply.last date is 25th jan.

does pondichery university give distance learning degree and if its regular is it as good as banglore university course???????

well , if you want an answer in simple terms , its NO.

see in my case as it works out , i will be having CAT affiliated interviews later, in end feb and march , Christ results out on 4th feb , ICFAI out on 5th feb so i think i wont have a problem with these 2. if i get ICFAI-hyd i'm pretty happy with it , though i still have colleges like IMI, IMT , FORE, KJ , remaining..

i think one of the main reasons people are so interested in Christ College is the fees, which is about 3 lakhs , but remember its not a residential college so you got to live outside , which will set you back roughly by atleast 8k a month (including fooding and all)

expenses hence = 3lakhs + 2 (all other expenses) = 5 lakhs.

then think about placements ,the average is about 3, so lets take that.

honestly speaking if these figures are some indication Christ is not great ...

on the other hand , i would not mind paying about 9 lakhs in ICFAI , as it gives me the chance to get a placement of roughy in upwards of 5.5 , which means alot in the long run !!

yes if you dont have any other reputed college to go to , then its a good option.

christ college has announced its gd schedule but i am unable to see my date.has anyone so far been able to view their gd dates.
