is MAT worth it?

well first of all please dont get me wrong.... i m not sounding sarcastic and I also dont want to say those giving MAT are wrong in doing it.... I m just talking about the Fact by seeing the list of colleges accepting MAT scores are nowhere in the premier B-schools of the country.... Everyone does an MBA for a good pay packet or a value addition to his or her CV or profile... or a few even smarter ones for networking

I know students who are serious about MBA and want a degree... but is it really worth spending 2 years and almost 4-5 lacs of your money to do an MBA which will hardly guarntee u a packet to pay the education loan of that 4-5 lacs and live a comfy life....

please dont take it in a wrong sense... i just want people's perspective on this topic...
