IBSAT2006.....class of 2008 at help -

hi....
im a student of IBS Hyderabad....
we as a group of students have come forward to help the aspirants of the exam by answering all the possible doubts...from xams to infrastructure to lecturers to extra currics...
dont live with a doubt.....
ask it....no matter hw small it is....

i wud be writin IBSAT this time, give me the preference order of ICFAI campuses. I have no work experience.which one wud be the best for me.
Many people say that B'lore isnt good[as seen in "ICFAI Campus Queries and call converts"]

hi
can u list top 5 ICFAI campuses in india.also which are the centres for GD/PI.
what is return on investment after doing MBA from ICFAI as fees is really very high.state avg salary of campuses.thanks in advance.

hi ppl....
for me the ranking was
1- hyderabad
2-bangalore
3-kolkata
4-mumbai
5-gurgaon
6-pune
its v difficult to rate ...these ranks were placed by me after talking to ppl and frens at diff colleges or other ibs centers....
but make sure u put the centers in the rank u think is best
look at jobs the alumini is in
bangalore is a good center as well.....it has good finance placements
kolkata has good marketing placements
see..u will face a lot of delimma as to wat center or college for that matter but make sure that ur clear of the reason y u want to gt into that institute...weigh all ur options and stick to them....
dont worry this too shall end...more later

i recently applied for Icfai. could you tell me exaclty how many seats are there at ICFAI hyderabad ? whats the normal cut-off ? and how many calls are there for the college. ?

well....
u need the kno the foll details and all ur doubts will b answered....
1 u dont gt a score card of this xam
2 if u fall in the list if scholarship winners...ur informed in person
3 batch of 2007 is of 780 ppl
4 batch of 2006 is of 900 ppl
5 i dont gt ur point bout the calls thing???
dont gt scared by the no of ppl in the college...u need to do well in all spheres...take part in col activities...inter college events....make research papers....etc etc....
rest will follow

thanks for the reply. thought that as other institutes we might have some percentile sort of thing in place in ICFAI too.
basically what you say is that :
1. you dont get a scoresheet for the exam.
2. those selected are informed in person.
still my query remains the same--
1. roughly what score qualifies you to get a call from IBS Hyderabad.
2. how many people are called for the same.

I am also giving ICFAI this december.Don't know much abt the colleges.
Ranking in ur previous post will help me.Thanx 4 dat.
But what r d cutoff for these college.
I have a 17 months work experience.Is it going to help me 4 hyderabad.

Hi,
I am a bit confused whether to take IBSAT or not.I have opted for SNAP which is on the same day as that of IBSAT ...not sure what to do as i feel that i wont be capable of handling two exams on one day....and as i belong to mumbai the test center of both this test would also matter alot...
Guys i have heard that IBSAT is reconducted in FEB also....Kindly tell me if i have any other options.....
Suggestions are welecomed...
