LIBA 2007 Admissions
Eligibility
For admission into the full time PGDBM programme the candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university and should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate. Students completing their examinations by June 07, 2007 may also apply.
Admission Procedure
1.Register for XAT 2007 at
www.xlri.edu. Last date for XAT 2007 online registration is November 30, 2006. Only candidates who have applied to XAT 2007 are eligible for admission to LIBA.
2.Obtain a demand draft for Rs.800 favouring “
LIBA CHENNAI” drawn on any bank and payable at Chennai. (This fee is in addition to the XAT 2007 fee).
a) Click "
Apply For LIBA" button at the bottom of the page or "
LIBA Registration" link on the left.
b) LIBA Registration Login page appears, enter your XAT ID and Password to login to register for LIBA and follow the instructions. c) Please fill in all the sections of the application form, download and take a printout of the LIBA PAYMENT ADVICE Form.
3.Send the Demand Draft along with the Payment Advice Form to -

Note:
a) Demand drafts sent without the Payment Advice Form will not be processed
b) Please mention your name and XAT ID on the reverse of the demand draft.
c) Upon receipt of your demand draft along with the Payment Advice Form, the LIBA prospectus for the year 2007 will be sent by post to the candidate’s residential address.
4. Further instructions will be sent to the candidate’s email address.
5. Mention your XAT ID for all future correspondence with the Institute.
6. Candidates who have applied to LIBA will be short listed only on the basis of their XAT 2007 scores. Short listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and interview for final selection at Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata. Candidates can give their choice of Interview centre, however it is subject to discretion of LIBA.

Note:
You can also obtain LIBA Bulletin from IMS LEARNING CENTRE anywhere in India by producing your XAT ID and follow the above mentioned procedure. However instead of sending the demand drafts please send the IMS payment receipt with your PAYMENT ADVICE FORM.
