Here is one MOCK SNAP paper which I got hold of.....and one XLRI paper contaning only GK questions....For the GK part...I suggest reading MANORAMA year book...though bit drab and boring...it's very informative and serves 2 purposes...
1.covers GK and Current affairs...and
2.covers topics/questions which are most likely to be asked in GD/PI.

THank U for that "Rocking" COmment Shail Sir..!!

Yes..I AM applying for SICSR...will let u knw when I will fill the form.

THere is one SHOCKING news for u ppl....My friend from SCIT told me tht...there are ppl with score as low as 29-30 making into SCIT (even when cutoffs were 40-45!!)...and ppl having 70+ not getting a call..!!..Wonder what the selection proc is!!
I went in IMS yesterday...and there I saw, tht last year's cutoff for SCMHRD was 92+....and SCMHRD has the highest cutoffs among all Symbi insti...So i guess a score of 90+ would be a sureshot way of getting a call from SCIT!
This is what I think....I mebbe wrong too!

Hi Aryan...

What ever might be the scenario..we have to give our best n we will dude. Just we have to make it a point that we have our mind and enegy focussed on SNAP and I know that we will make it definately that's for sure.

Just shrugg off those PROC related queries....Rem SCIT got the AICTE n NAAC approval last years seems to me. Might be @ that time they might not be gettin' students. Its just a assumption.

Just FOCUS GUYZ....I am also applyin' for SICSR.

Thanks

Take Care

Shail

Hi Guyz....

In the latest renovation...SCIT has been graded as B+ by NAAC and autonomous institute which grades institutes based on various parameters.

It has been brought to my attention by Aryan.

For more details hit Accredited Colleges# and see serial no. 849. Also dont forget to read the report prepared by NAAC on the RHS.

Hey Aryan...only SCIT(Grade:B+) n SIIB(Grade:B) has been approved by NAAC. They might take time to make their other institutes under NAAC.

Is this a progress done by SYM or they are downgrading. NAAC is better or AICTE. I think AICTE is based on Tech related areas. Nyways this might be a feat acheived by SYM.

Good for us. Nybody can clear this from the SCITian's

Thanks

@KrishnaDas..

Can the same be said about the MBA(IT) course of SICSR?
Nobody complains abt the placements in Symbi...the only thing is What is the pay that u get? I guess SICSR ppl don't get that much...don't know for sure though!!

Hi

MBA(IT) of SICSR might be havin' good placements apart from MSC(CA) thats for sure. This name SYMBIOSIS carries a lotsa weight in it. If you just mention PG from SYM..those two pages of ya resume' carries a lotsa wieghtage.

As such what package can we expect from SCIT 3-4(Freshers) (4-5) Exp...and SICSR wud be the same.

What matters is the education that u take out with ya from SYM. I would also say that SICSR is also a good college. Who knows they also might get AICTE rank in near future.

If nybody can check out the placements @ SICSR for this year..we might get an idea abt the same. Heard that somebody from SICSR got placed in TCS with a good package. I guess he was BSc.

Thanks

Shail
