course at iit delhi is very good... this year , calls were given till around 450 rank. For course details you can visit iitdmba.com

and how many seats r there overall... what s the call to seat ratio usually..
how many batches ve passed out??

There are two streams: MBA with spln in Management Systems and the second is wid spln in Telecommunications. This u must have learnt from the site. There are 60 seats in MS and 15 in Telecom, but it is not compulsory to fill them all. The institute expects certain standards from the incoming students and will even reduce its batch strength if it doesnot find good people. We are a class of 64 in all...

Last time calls were given till around 480 I guess, the last convert was around 440. The insti looks for good people, and there are no stats, but yourself you can rely on.

This query is purely of academic interest. I understand from the above posts that there were few seats left empty in the last year batch because IITD did not find enough students. However, I was a waitlist at 45 last year which was never cleared. In fact, they gave out waitlist till 97 atleast. What was the point of giving out such a long waitlist if the candidated after 40 were not suitable to join the course?

Was it that DMS was well into the semester and the management decided not to invoke the waiting list anymore?

Again, its purely of academic interest. So take your time to answer this one....
