Hostel to delhiites is allotted after all candidates from outside delhi get their allotments. infact even ppl from our batch who are from delhi have to reapply for the hostel next year.

If you stay more than 20 kms away from the hostel then you have a good chance of getting the hostel in the first go itself.

I would recommend that you send the application with the DD and hope for the best.

btw me too from delhi ... i had not opted for the hostel as I live just 4 kms from the campus.

SEnd a letter now asking for hostel, and if u r allotted a hostel, u ll get a letter back 10 days before admission n then make a dd as per the letter n get it... However, if u r 4m Delhi, u might get a hostel a couple of weeks after the admission based on the availability. This year, every Delhiite who has applied for a hostel got it...

Could somebody throw some light on the MBA program focussed towards telecom mgmt.(DLT course). Some facts abt placements this year etc and the course in general would help....

had been occupied by Summers n hadnt chkd this thread!

In case u dint know yet, DLT has 15 students and in all, thr r just 2 courses diff from DLM. DLT has scholarship option too. The first 3 topeprs get 50K, 30K n 20K respectively! There is no difference in Placement, except that some companies like Bharti, IBM Consulting announce special profiles for DLT people alone. Apart from special profiles in the Telecom Sector, DLT ppl can sit for ANY and ALL companies visiting DMS. There is no disparity among DLM and DLT for placements!

Hi i got a call from DMS regarding DLT yesterday evening.
It was a pleasent surprise for me.
I was not in the waiting list also.


can any senior confirm about it.....
