Actually my case might seem like . Anyways, what has happened is that I applied for JMET without doing the proper research. And now I find that one requires an aggregate % of 60 or more for IIT-D.:( Also the eligibility criteria for IIT-B & IIT-Kharag are unclear.??: I mean do they too require an aggregate of more than 60%? I don't know whether this is the right thread for enquiring about the other IIT's, but I can't seem to find out theirs!

Yeah, I too think that they take people having above 60% . But whether they consider just the final year marks or the combined aggregate of all the semesters is the question!!!

We are done with BII 2006 and it was a bigger success than ever. Now, its the Majors and JMET season and as if to gear up to it and sign off BII in style, we did have a rocking party!

It must be the aggregate percentage as you wont be through your final semester exams at interview time and usually the engineering results come pretty late. However, just to be sure, you can inquire at the numbers given in the prospectus. People in office are very helpful or just pm the respective seniors. That will clear up the things. ATB!!

JMET is over for 2007 and now it time for the wait to results and analysis..
DMS IITD last year gave interview calls till arnd jmet rank 460
The number of seats available here till last year is 75. IF there are any changes this time I will get back shortly.
The GD/PI process is usually held in february/march
Puys.. we'r all here to help u with ur doubts and queries.. Lets hope as many PGites get to good B-schools this time arnd too...

This year some JMET Takers scored between 70-75 and TIME and OTher coaching institutes saying 60-65 will fetch all calls.
Please clarify my doubt that
IITB GIVES CALL TILL-360s
IITD GIVES CALL TILL-460s
and it is a national level paper so how a person getting 60-64 can expect a call from IITB OR IITD AS THER MUST BE MANY PEOPLE(>600) IN THE BRACKET OF 68-75.
IS IT A PAST TREND THAT THERE ARE VERY FEW PEOPLE AT THE SAME MARKS,BECAUSE AS PER DISCUSSION WHAT I CONCEIVE THAT MARKS REDUCES WITH RANKS LINEARLY .

There may be a scenario where in arround 1000 students are scoring 100... but none of them getting a call... Do u visualise that...???
These coaching Institutes visualize that... and so they predict a score of 65 to be enuf... I hope u got my point...!!!
