dont worry mate. you can always cover up ur case of low percentage. you work in a very good company and a period of 20 months is quite good. we have a few poeple with below 70% in their engg. your percentage does not carry any weightage for recieving a call.
once you get a call it is only ur GD and interview performances which count. so forget all ur tensions before the exams. pull up ur socks and aspire to enter into one of the best b-schools.

this year the iit's have introduced sectional cutoffs. while two of the three sections need no extra preperation, for quant you need to work a bit extra. in addition to your CAT quant, try and do linear algebra, co-ordinate geometry and a bit of basic maths from 1st year engg. evn if u are good at the cat quant it should suffice. but then u should be good at the other 2 sections. a percentile of around 97-98 should fetch you a call from almost all the iit's. that will be a rank of around 350. the percentiles anyway depend on how many competitors have. so target a rank below 400.

Just a little piece of advice for JMET aspirants::
We seldom look at brochure for the actual sylaabus before preparing for any entrance exam in the sense that we tend to think that its all the same. Guys, please do go through the syllabus given in the JMET brochure. There are changes every year with addition / deletion of topics. There might even be some information about changes in the pattern of the exam.
All the best !!!!
PS: For ppl in the 2008 batch who dont know me, I am from the 2006 batch
Please, Lord, let me prove that winning the lottery won't spoil me.
