Hey there...
This year, in the Class of 2008, there are almost 80% work-ex. That shud say about wht can happen in placements. We have had good lateral placements this year and are aiming at higher level of lateral placements this year! So, you should have no doubts about choosing DMS with work-ex!

MBA is not just about 10-12 Lacs pay packages....there's much more into it.....Here at VGSOM we have people with 10 yrs of work experience who opted to do MBA coz they felt the need for it.....and they were already earning high salary.....If that's not enough, we have about fifteen people in age group of 45-55 yrs from Indian Army & Airforce who sit in our class...................so dude it's not just the salry and placements......

rest the decision is urs..

Pal, yes u can get a lateral of around 10 LPA but it also depends onthe specialization you choose & CGPA you score....If you have passion for MBA, then IITM is the apt place for you.
