Further Details on link:

http://www.iitr.ac.in/jmet07/

Appearing for Joint Management Entrance Test 2007 (JMET 2007) is the first step in the process of seeking admission to the 2-YEAR FULL TIME Post-Graduate Degree Programmes in Management offered by IISc and the IITs for the academic year beginning July/Aug 2007.

Currently IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee are offering such Programmes in Management.
The IISc and participating IITs will use the results of JMET 2007 to short list candidates for the subsequent part of the selection process(es). Applicants should note that they have to apply for and send separate application forms to IISc and different IITs as per their choices. Candidates are advised to refer to the details provided by each of the Institutes in this website. An applicant can apply to as many programmes as desired by him / her subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements.

JMET 2007 is only a qualifying examination. It is not mandatory that all candidates who are declared as qualified will be called for Group Discussion / Interview etc. Calling the candidates for such later process(es) of selection is the prerogative of the admitting Institute. JMET 2007 qualified candidates may contact the management schools/departments of the concerned institutes for additional information, if any. It may be noted that the GATE/JMET offices will not respond to queries on the admission procedure.

Ek Exam (CAT) ke liye 1000 thread!
aur 1000 exam ke liye ek thread !!

Are O kaalia!
Ek Thread .. aur itne exam !!
Bahut naainsaafi hai !

So I thought JMET .. which gives you entry to 7 Bschool deserves a separate thread......

boss, almost every b-skool admission/exam (SCMHRD, NMAT, XAT etc) coming up this season now has a thread opened up for it. I was going thru some of the threads. Could not find your posting on most of them. May I ask why this bias against there being one thread for "JMET Notification"?

floyd was just trying to spread the news to potential aspirants. I was a very active member on PG myself (last year, when I was a potential B-skool aspirant) and this was the norm at that time (having separate threads for separate exams). Has it chhanged this time around?

Is there any restriction on the number of attempts at JMET?
Can it be taken up more than two times?
Though nothing is mentioned in Programmes & Eligibilty, just wanted to confirm.
