Indeed the language is very ambiguous.'Institute concerned can be both IIT Roorkee/IIT of related zone.
But Step#1 link is working fine,just try it at non peak hrs unless you have a very fast connection.

Yeah i was also unable to log into the site...even at 2:30 in the night with a 256kbps connection...its already 15th...

And what is this... Attested copy of class 10th as a proof of Age... if this is to be attested by the school authority aka principal or vice principal... then how will i get that... I am not at the place from where i did my 10th... __________________or it shld attested by the clg principlal frm whr i m doin my graduationj.....

Regarding the "Attested Copy as a proof of age" in the JMET 2007 form
is it to be self attested??or else

i talked to GATE office yesterday and they confirmed tht the link is working as they are getting around 100 online applications daily ..

i can unsderstand your anxiety but the cant help if the server is under duress

will pass your concerns to the required authority ..

Can u tell us who will be the authorised to attestthe 10th Class marksheet:
1. School Principal or Vice Principal
2. Any Gazzetted Officer

I'm not able to open the online application form uptil now... ...I think I'll have to put in another 800 bucks now...don't think it'll be wise to wait further..
