And floyd, if u cant do anything about something then there is no need of writing off it to IIT R guys. They know wat they need to do and you got no rights to make them feel that they r not doin enuf. Its a tech problem and even when IIT B organized it last year, there was same problem. SO there is nothing new in this online problem. Happens each year. So either solve the problem or keep out of it. No need to directing to anybody else.

I know you are here to create a good impression of SJM but that doesnt mean u will condemn other insti. anyway, u guys r doin good job of helpin ppl. continue the good work without harming other insti's.. Hope you take it in right spirits.

I very well know the nature of the problem and that it does occur often.

I also know that I cannot do anything about the problem. Thats exactly why I have asked them to PM the person who knows about the problem. IIT R ppl are not very active on PG. Even if they are not getting notifications for the posts here, PMing them will ensure a mail.


If this makes you feel that I am trying to make a good impression of SJMSOM, then GOD help you! Its rather strange to see you coming up with such ridiculous inferences.

I am surprised you see a JMET queries thread as a forum to compare the IITs. This is a thread where all of us are trying to coordinate to help the aspirants. IIT R has done a great job so far in organizing JMET, and the rest are doing a good job in helping out the aspirants. Lets rise over these petty issues and expend our energies, where it will be more fruitful.

good news : the link is up ..but it wil be slow for the ppl who have slower connection on thier end ..
moreover the size of the application brochure is reduced to 2.8 MB , so it 'll be easire to download the brochure now

bad news : slug match between sister IITs ,,hey guys thts the last thing we want to do ..

flyod just a piece of iformation, JMET is conducted by central GATE Committe of IITs which condcuts JMET ,GATE n JAM
DoMS and SOM dont have any role to play in conducting the examination
so we guys cant do much except lodging an official complaint

i hope it makes things easier.. and dont worry i m not ffended by anybodys remark
