hey thanx for the info ... but i hav more queries ... i hope u respond I got a percentile of 80.9 in CAT. I have good academics (distinction holder in AISSE n AISSCE... 65 in bsc comp sc frm du). I have participated in extra curriculars regularly > dramatics. I have a workex of 6 months in Wipro BPO. What are my chances of getting a call n converting it at DoMS ???  | | | | | | | |

hey .. thanx for clarifying the doubt
but as i told earlier i hav lot of doubts ..
the first one bein that i hav applied to similar institutes like BIM, LBISM, XIME etc ..compared to this what do u think are the strengths of DoMS coz these schools r quite well known .. but nobody really gets to hear of DoMS ...
well i mus b soundin real curious to u guys but frankly speakin .. this is my second shot at CAT .. n i dont wanna take ne chances ... plus i m really interested takin admission this yr n dont wanna wait for another yr

Well biggest advantage of selecting DOMS is u will be spending really less.. n the salary is quite decent .. comparable.. u get to spend only say 1.2-1.5 L overall in the two years.. which includes the hostel n stuff...Salary.. Well v have been achieving 100% placements last couple of yrs wit decent salary.. then v enjoy the facilities of NIT campus like the Octagon(8MBPS) gym .. pool etc.. well thats abt it... | | | | | | | |

I have a question for the nit student in this thread.NIT trichy takes 60 students for its mba. And last year there were 6 students with fin specialisation.Only 2 to 3 core finance companys had come and i heard from people in NITT that some among those 6 tried on their own.I would like to kno are the finance placements really good? and would we have some core finance company that take students or is it advisable to choose only mba systems for NIT trichy.And i also heard there may be finance placement in software co but core fin co placement seems to be poor. pls do reply, thank you | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes |  Linear Mode |
