if ur acads r good as u say .. u hav a chance .. it depends on the rest of the junta as well who apply ... as far as an honest answer is concerned at ths %le u dont stand much of a chance in most of the other b schools .. u can try here .. there is a slight chance ..of course ... n if get a call n do well in gd n pi layin emphasis on ur strong acads .. u might as well b thru .. but whatever u hav to do .. do it quickly

can u explain a bit bout the profiles that hav been offered by the companies this yr ... are they purely technical or mgt. oriented ... any particular sector they are bent towards ??

well .. the profiles offered this yr. represent various sectors like fin.,mktg., systems, ops n hr .. the profiles vary frm biz analysts, fin analysts, data analysts, IT consulting, Mgt traine (General n hr), Project Mgt trainees to Requirements Engg ...

i hav some 6 months of work ex in a BPO (Wipro).. but i hav heard frm people that it wudnt b calculated while i m evaluated by the interview panel ... wud it count or wudnt it ???

hey ... a bpo work ex may not giv u much of an edge over the non experienced guys ... but it wud really help u during the course of 2 yrs of mba degree n for that matter any work ex wud help ... so it will be treated as valuable by the admissions commitee

Am afraid that my percentile is bit low..... will they surely take into account my work ex and my acads and my extra currciulars... im really strong in all these.... srs pls reply.. am totally confused... Am with Ramco systems now for the past 1.8 yrs..... hope this wuld help nme ifthey consider it durin shortlisting.. pls comment onthis.. thnk u..

hey .. again as i hav said earlier on the thread as well .. i wont commit anything .. but with a percentile of 70.26 and a work ex of 1.8 yrs .. that too in a good company ... infact Ramco is one of our recruiters... u are in with a decent chance .. since the admissions commitee is going to stress on other aspects than only the cat score .. n as u told with good acads .. co curriculars ... n work ex in a good company ... they seem to b ur strenghts .. so at this pt in time, focus on ur strenghts than worrying bout the weaknesses ..... bout the cutoffs v guys(students) hav no idea bout it right now ... u can call up the admn office ... if those guys can b help .. but i hav my doubts ... will get back to u as soon as i get hands on any info reg. it .. right now u keep ur fingers crossed.
