Cracking XAT- XL Speak

Can't it be that we all have same TYPE of questions..only that the VALUES are changed....say I get find f(5) and you may say f(10) etc etc???

Anyone took XAT last year? Do u remember similar instances?

Regarding the different set of questions, I don't think we should be cribbing- it is the way for the GMAT as well. Only the CAT ppl change the order of the Qs in the sets- which seems puerile

Now a doubt? XAT is online or offline?
People who have got their admit cards can tell us as it will be some computer insti like NIIT for online.

Nopes it's offline only. My exam is at a Kv so it's very unprobable that they will have an online exam there.

King: Abt Verbal Prepss, go thru' Verbal Word lists ... synonyms et al frm GRE Handbooks

And Vicky: Abt the GK section. i dont clearly rem how many i attempted .... left out two questions which was totally not workoutable...
one was somthing like by how much percent did the indian hardware exports or industry grow or sumthin like tht ... a few others ... few questions abt the 2001 census .. i guessed frm the choices and it turned out right ... abt literacy and one more .. gk is generally crackable without much fuss, esp if u hv been reading consistently and hv attended tht quiz in ur college/neighbourhood once-in-a-while.
abt all india ranks we werent issued any.

Nikhil: I started preparing for exam a week before after giving a mock xat. Alle these Qs were completely new to me. This was when i realised the paper wa completely diff frm the usual time/speed/mixtures sortsof problems.
But I would say, none of tht one week preparation helped tht much ...

& prolly bcz this section was diff for others to prepare for ----- it was easy for me
