Once ur in SITM dnt worry abt placements , they are good , last yr's placements speak for itself...of cors ur inputs into acads n extra curr adds on to ur chances to b better placed.
avg package was 4.81 last yr......!!

Roles offered .., do nt hav ny idea as of now ..!!
but 1 thng's for sure...SITM would be a wise decision u'd take if ur looking at a career in IT/Telecom...

hi ...i m an engineering student (IT branch) mumbai...right now in third year (5th semester) and i m interested in pursuing further career in IT only...so i think SITM will be a gud option 4 me when i will be giving SNAP next year
my acads are:
10th-89.8%
12- 93.2%
engg aggr till now-69% (till 4th semester)
(no work exp)

what r my chances of getting into SITM as i have heard that they give importance to acads....also i would like to know if they see sectional cutoffs

ALso PLZ let me know the placement stats (avg and highest, lowest salary packages) for SITM.....

Hi Guyz....

I purchased prospectus for SITM from IMS. I have one query regarding fiilin' up the form.

1) What do you mean by "ATTESTED PHOTOGRAPH" ? Does that means that we have go get the photo stamped from the authorities like we attest zerox copies ?

2) In that form, there a column regarding WORK EX. But I am still workin' Shud I write TILL DATE in that column.

1. yes u hav to get it atstd in the sam way as u do it to ur xerox copies.
2. yes enter ur workex as on date u fill in the form.

- SITM would b a good option for u as per ur intersts.
- Chances depend on a num of factors - past acads,GD,interview,X-temore ..so u cant compromise on ny .
