Can any1 tell me which insitz except IIFT n SIIB offer MBA in International Business in India as well as Abroad....?

N if it is better to do International Buss. from abroad to get a global prospect??

KJ somaiya has a branch of international bussiness & also IMDR, pune.

If u do from IIFT then there there is no need to look for foreign B-schools.

Hi Payal,

If u lookin specifically at International Bizness, thn India should actually be ur destination, coz globally Intntl Biz has strrtd focusing on South East Asian Markets. Stayin here or looking for an Asian University is a better option. U can look for the following options-

1)IIFT- Best course curriculum and gr8 faculty.

2) DEpartment of Commerce and Economics, Pune University (Just Rs 10,000)- The course is called as PGDFT, PG Diploma in Foreign Trade...Excellent faculty, placements is an issue though. But Pune University is a huge brand name and will justify ur effort.

In fact lookin at ur age I would advice u to do n MBA a Pune B-School like Symbi or PUMBA.
PUMBA will be a better option as being a gr8 brand and in the same Pune University campus u can simultaneously do PGDFT.

Ne insight on some good uniz in Asian countries like Singapore or ne other??...I found a couple of courses in Singapore, their fees is above 7lcs..is it ne worth??

Gitam, VIzag runs courses in IB with IIFT alliance. also IIFT is opening some alternate cities, chk for IIFT kolkata also.
some EU schools have gud IB courses, like Leeds Univ--entry not so competitive. for singapore and anywhr out side India it helps if u have 2 yrs+ work exp in related industry like export, shipping etc. u wl be able to appreciate the course better. for 7 lacs singapore is gud but be sure industry expects some workex in related jobs for hiring in lateral level from b-schools abroad. some top US schools are offering 1yr/2yr progs in IB in singapore in FT/PT mode. chk for them also.

IIFT offers a curriculum which is on the lines of an MBA with IB.
We have 2 Campuses as of now in India
Delhi
Kolkata(Calcutta)

And An International Campus in Dar E Salaam.
In all IIFT gives you more of a Regular MBA rather than Per se IB specialisation for further queries check out the brochure or the site www.iift.edu
As for specifics in IB MIB is another Institute.

I searched for MIB on google..D only thing i cud find was Men In Black
If u cud jus give some more details on this insti. then it wud became easier to find bout it..!
IIFT totally rox if 1 wants to do mba but itz way out of my reach...So jus findin other decent options...

Hey Payal,

If u want to do MBA in International Business then look for the following B- Skolls

1. IIFT
2. SIIB
3. KJS IB (Kindly check whether its course has been approved by aicte or not )
4. Gitam , Vizag (Kindly check whether its course has been approved by aicte or not )

iift is A grade colg, SIIB is B kjs is also B and Gitam is C
I got selected for gitam but did not joined.

as far MBA - International Business is concerned, IIFT is the best.
and nw there are two IIFTs -- IIFT New Delhi and IIFT Kolkatta..IIFT hs already cm out wth its admission notification as well...
Other bschools fr MBA IB are SIIB and KJSomaiya....
