PGDBM v/s MMS

I am an MBA aspirant from Mumbai. I wish to know if I should opt for the MMS or PGDBM course. Basically which is better. And will it make a difference when it comes to placements?

placement wise ---the pgdbm and mms course of the same college will hardly have any difference.yes if ur r planning to go for further studies abroad then a MMS is better option.some ppl also have the opinion that the course content os pgdbm is more dynamic and mms is rigid.

hi.. first of all it depend you are doing it from which college,... Say if u get into MMS and PGDBA in NLDalmia.. than it wont make any difference other than a tag as placements are same for both and held together... even many times classes are conducted jointly.

But if U get PGDBA in top 5 college and MMS in Top 10 than its better to do PGDBA than MMS...

hello friend as far as i am concerned i am a welingkar[mumbai] student of batch 06-08 doing my ebiz from there!though i may sound biased i have talked to some mms seniours and they told me that placement for mms is not 100% when i say not 100% i dont mean that placements are bad but they r not 100%,this is not a case with pgdbm/pgpebiz.
besides that even faculty admit that pgdbm course is more dynamic than mms......
i am just providing info and not making any conclusions bye 4 now
