Hi Guyz,

Do BITS have any info/plans for Work Ex ppl, if work Ex ppl gets admission. Coz it wont be possible to join the col on 1 August itself. Atleast we would require 2 months to get releived from the company???

Any Seniors have any info regarding this????

hii.. sry 4 the late reply.. placements are very bad this time.. v don actualy get much help 4m the placement unit specially mbas.. so its better if u hav a beter option 2 go 4.. anywayz al the best..

BITS PILANI mba IS A Joke ...PILANI is running MBA for Filling its Bank Balance.....It's completely Bogus Degree.......Don't fall for Name, It's a Media Hype they Own news papers (Hindustan Times) and they create News so that a bunch of people Run for that race.....Only GOVT run Institutions are giving a valid degree IIMS, FMS,IIFT..
Don't Trust few Corporates they are worse than Fraud stock brokers..

If you want some Information check out the International recognition of Best colleges in India...The hi-fi colleges rank 400 or 350 in world..Iam talking of IIMS....IITS ...if that's true why on earth International Financial companies recruit a Bunch of Bojos from Pilani who are with Little or No reputation in India Forget the International recruiters and 20 Lakh /per annum package for the first Batch student is Indeed a clever Plot by BITS to attract students. I hope BITS MBA is not even Recognised stuff...

I have Got some relevant Information from Facebook....Infact 75% of Bits 2 and 3 rd batch students aren't placed...and Highest package is 2 lakh...
People are ready for 1.8 Lakh even........I don't why on earth people with 3 year experience have chosen a Stuff like bits and Compelled to take that Burden ...
Truth is BITS MBA is 4th graded MBA, No curriculum , NO placements, No staff. Students Flirt around ....

If you are eager for getting a Best Girl for a Date Visit Shaadi.com, Indian matrimonial.com Not BITS MBA...

HI Guys,

The placements in BITS is bad! accepted.... My bro says its coz of recession... he echos again...if you are the best...'he mean BEST' ...in the sense......you come der for studies not relax thinking....'I m in BITS and rest assured of the Job'.....nope..... he syas it will not work that way! (he also says most of teh students get back home if they are not able to cope up)

You are accountable from the timetable to exam.....Remember from Timetable selecting your lecturer ...class....and you have to run behind the prof./lecut.... to learn.....he syas u learn from experince....as students do everything... I mean they take initative....After hearing from him i was remainded of my classmate who has done his MS for US....very similar.......approach...

To be fair i am sure every one here have seen\heard about IIM students this year not yet getting placed..... As i said earlier....BITS is an institute of Technology.....If you would like to have an edge in management of Technology.....Its good go for it..... but keep your fingers crossed ..... praying for the market to recover......The placements arent bad......Students go for 2Lakhs or 1.8 Lakhs (if at all...not sure.... as my bro laughed saying its all crap .....as even an Engg with vag marks get a placemt of 3-4 lakhs minmun...remmebr fr a fresher....)....

An example......I am working in a IT company... There are no projects in my org...or rather projects are being winded up....so Tech people are on bench.....and Of course managers also will be on bench.....trying to get hold of new clients......now, if there are projects there will be new recruitments...if projects arent der ....how will der be recriutment?...now put the scenario and question yourself...

One thing Assured...... BITS degree has a value .....Internatinally.....Though not ranked as some one said....its worth....i have checked the curriculum.....its worth studying and i am sure that u have two years to complete the degree.......and In tehse two years market will surely get back to BOOM (as experts predict the market needs another year).....also in these two years the BITS MBA will be more famous......So dont you think you will get a job 2 years down the lane?...if you think you ...dont then even you getting into IIM is a waste...as people in IIM work for 18 hours a day trust me....18hours a day....???

Jus think guys...... Give it a try....Wat i feel is ...... Personally....It is Really better than the I_PM.....Wat say??

And again it your talent to get your self marketed...... Placemts jus give a push...they dont sit for interviews on behalf of us.......??

jus thinkkkkkkkkkk......I am 3 yrs exp in a S/W comapny....want to do MBA from BITS.....Missed... it this time due to work pressure...... i have anaylsed after speaking to people , my frnes from IIM's , Classmates in US who are working post MS....................

The Conclusion: You have to be BEST OF Breed to sit high and safe........

That was one of the best post I ve read from a long time!!! I loved the enthusiasm n passion u ve displayed in life/BITS ... very true and I agree 100% to ur point of view. - u gotta b the best to get the best!! BITS will definitely make u a much much better mgr if u can cope up the pressure incampus and manage ur activities, time, etc ... after all why else do the companies hire MBA grads - they are not just better managers but can thrive in the odds and come out colorful.

Finally Please dont get deceived by people sayin No curriculum , NO placements, No staff. Its completely atrocious. BITS has a history of having management group for over 35 years and running the most reputed course called Master of Management Studies(a 4 years course for under grad - search MMS for its reputation n rankin) Recent years have seen MBA maturing so the management decided to change the under grad course to post grad thus a MBA degree .. the teachers are all very much exp, curriculum is set in consultation with MIT, placement so far has been decent (v good for 1st batch n average for the 2nd due to slow down)
