Hi guys,
I can see that a lot of people are showing interest in the bits mba course.
One point that i would like to highlight about our course is the 6 month internship programme which is referred to as Practice school . No B school other than BITS in India provides this.Rather than just learning theory students get to practice the skills gained during the practice school .From the big ones like JPMC, Morgan stanley,Oracle,Iflex, HP ,Delloite to the n number of startups that come to hire the students.
Also the syllabus is constantly evolving to the needs of the recruiters .this is the new set of electives offered to us.As ppl can see the management group also leverages the strength of finance group to offer new couses to us.

Hi,

I am a BITS Pilani graduate belonging to class of 2006. I along with my other friend have applied for MBA program at BITS Pilani.We have been shortlisted for the further processes and we are travelling to Pilani back after 2 and a half years (It sounds great).

It is also great to see so many showing interest in this program.

What I feel about this program is the same as stated earlier in this thread. The placements are going to be fine and it is going to be a good learning experience.Moreover having a Practice School is an added advantage.

One thing which still confuses me is the further selection process. The instructions say we haev carry a calculator. Is there going to be another aptitude test? Someone pls help out.

hi everyone....!!

i have just got a envelope frm BITS pilani...which has 3 enclosures..
1. a printout that i m shortlisted for mba course
2. a page of instruction same as that mentioned on the net along with the result...ie ki what stuff u have to bring along...and that the fees has to be paid on the 26th

3. but a third enclosure is also there which says i have to send a dd of 40000 rs as advance fees...this has to reach by 10 july..otherwise i will be shifted down the merit list

i m a little confused now..that i have 2 letter tellin opposite things one says fees has to be paid on 26 and one says that a advance of 4000 0 has to be send ...

can any of u seniors out there help me out on this..was this the convention during ur time also...

and everyone who will be joinin this year have u got any such letter??

even i got the same envelope with three enclosures.
the 2nd and the 3rd enclosures are sayin different things............but i guess(its my personal guess) the 3rd one overrides the 2nd.Can any one confirm the same

hmm a lot of confusion...but we can not assume that 3rd one overrides the 2nd...as the pink coloured one has specifically MBA written on top of it...whereas the other one has higher degree written on it..

let seniors reply what was the procedure last time...
