Boss , for one i think JMET quants is uncrackable. And i am sure there is no cut-off for it in the paper. Ppl attempt max 3-4 questions in JMET quants. So one can rather focus on CAT than spend time on other stuff........

Sriks is right. Dont waste time with higher level maths, unless you're a fanatic maths lover. I attempted 7 or 8 questions max...the main thing in JMET is to maximise your scores in the other sections and leave 15 mins for the quant section to get a non negative score. | | | | | The Following User Says NO Thank You to ExpandingHorizon For This Un-useful Post:

Managers are supposed to chose a problem..Rather than bang their heads on every wall..
Y the hell wud I want to solve a higher maths problem, or a difficult integration, running to 10 steps, when I know I can recruit an engineer/maths freak, to do the same for me, at a lesser pay compared to my time.
I guess...I came to a wrong thread. JMET maths finds no/little relevance in life after MBA.It is just a hurdle to be crossed while giving the JMET paper.. Manzilein unhi ko milti hain, Jinke Sapno mein Jaan hoti hai,

And by the way, you seem to have a wrong idea of what an MBA is about, if you feel that higher maths is only for the engineers. You'll have plenty of calculus in your course, so dont view it with so much contempt!
