and no profile as such for pgpbd.. wht they say is CREATIVE minds.. thats it.. freshers.. any grads can apply...

man seein ur prof.. dont go for it.. u better to normal PGDBM course from a premier college.. i m jus a fresher.. but jus that if i was in ur position, then i wudnt have gone for it.. might have even considered specialisation like MBA in telcom from SYMBIOSIS.. jus my point of view...

cheers..

do u think i shud go in for this....i need ur help people...
the course seem 2 b inters coz even i m involved with a lot of designing atuff...but the BIG QUES remains......Placements......?

placement scenario isnt that lucrative.
30 out of 45 students will be taken in by Pantaloon.
dont know about the fate of the rest.
dont know wat pantaloon is up to.
they are taking in people from PGPRM, PGPBD from Welingkars + from NMIMS + from god knows where.
i suggest talk to the welingkar faculty who is owner of this course regarding the fate of the other remaining 15 students + what kinda package we'll be aiming for..
i tried calling up but dint get thru.

man ,

first of all what kind of a package are you getting and one thing is for sure that they will ask you in your interview is y join this course when ur a b.E.
see like you knw its a pilot batch and first of its kind. no one can help you with placements, the best thin you can do is walk into any head office of any big firm , meet the boss as in a gm or someone more senior and trust me they will help, we as indians like to help people(its smthin thts in our blood, you look for one piece of advice and you will get millions of ppl jumpin to advice you better).

am sure a person who knows bat thins happenin behind close doors at various firms head offices can help you the best regardin ur problem.

all the best

let us knw wat the gm tells u?

man ,

i dont knw if this proves anythin. or growin up does,
it worked for me. man if you wanna meet mr uday salunke, start visitin welingar from today itself , by the 10th u mite just get the chance to meet him.

if at a company they wont let you meet anyone, just find out an official e mail address and try your luck. worked for me though, i went to a pantaloon store and met the store manager directly, ad got some great info frm him which is mentioned earlier.

just dont think tht you can walk into eliance ho and do tht , if you are in delhi, maruti udyog wld help, worked for one of my friends though. he just went to the gurgaon plant and met some manager there. drive a maruti there, he did and they thought that he was a customer and wanted to meet someone for the car thing!!!!

you guys can atleast try rather than jumping to conclusins, please try meeting mr uday salunke also, if you manage to please enlighten us here!!!

take care

well ,.
i got some infor bat the course which is not mentioned on the website,

as you all know the course is of two years. miss manisha (extension 425) at welingkar told me that the course is exactly identical to pgdbm with some extra designing subjects and not paper designs but mainly computer based and in the second year you can specialise from the various choices frm hr, marketing etc, like they have in the pgdbm course, but again those extra design subjects would be there!!!!

and the pantaloon store manager said the same thin which col ashok singh told me and i have it posted on the first page. there was nothin which would confuse me regarding the course. now at least!!!!
