im so apprensive about the location of tiss.
is it actually in mumbai or just for name sake?
is the place gud?
n how far it is from the main city.in terms of time required to commute from tiss to the interiors.

Deonar is the place where she stayed as a little girl......

actually the whole Kapoor Khandan used to stay in Chembur .....

Its a decent place ........

wow...i think one should be apprehensive more about the result and the subsequent chance of converting the call than to be apprehnsive about..of all things...the location of an institute.

and on a humourous note, i am sure the gals at tiss are no less than kareena kapoors..so, long time back lived a li'l kareena kapoor, now live there a lot of them

Just an update.
1. Today municipal elections are being held in Mumbai.... this can delay the proceedings
2. TISS displays the list in its campus. ...like paper on display board types ... (...heard from an alumnus....) ....Seniors please confirm.....

that means they donot put it on the website????how come we know abt the result??? via posts.... but that will take days!!!

hey!! i thought they put it up on the site too. Thats what they did the last time. Like, display the list of shortlisted candidates. May be they put up the printed list on the notice board in ADDITION to posting it on the site....yea, that muse be it. But does anyone know for sure exactly when we can expect the results? the wait is killing and i dont want to die so young!! Help!!

When I first took TISS in 2005, there was only one centre & that was TISS, Mumbai.
Essay test & GD happened the same day & so were the results declared the same evening on the notice board.

However, when i took TISS in 2006, there were many centres ( quite the case this year ) & thus the shortlisted names were uploaded on the institute's website in pdf format. The results were declared in the afternoon at 4 pm last year.

I believe that would be the case even this year since TISS only gives out names of candidates who are shortlisted.

Atleast no score was ever given.

Whatever happens, happens for the best

hey its 1st feb and no signs of the result on the website .........well i hope its out by evening and doesnt get delayed too much as this wait is making me more anxious and apprehensive wat ever has to happen just happen ....................... by the above post it looks that result may be delayed due to elections wonder wat insti has to do with elections????????? anyways best of luck to all of us...............................
