It is difficult to say how many people with workex would apply!!! In all there should be around 5,500 applications. take into account that there is reservation for workex people, the no. of applications from people with workex is expected to go up. In the current batch, there's a fair mix of people; freshers, 6 months exp, 1 yr exp, 2, 3, 4, 6 yrs exp too. No exp is a bad exp. even the recruiters who come here are of the same view.
A very good point. TISS is not a b-school and your approach to GD and PI has to aligned to the same. Its not the most aggresive people who are selected but people who are more sensitive to the surrounding and who are able to take the group along towards a logical conclusion to the discussion. Avoid capitalistic kind of arguments. after all this is a social science institute.
