hi
iam also thinking of applying.but i hav lot of doubts abt it.
1.is it AICTE recognised
2.whether the course is good.is it worthful.what is the total cost.
3.what are the statistics of the students in the previous batch.
4.what is the eligibility creiteria
+to have a family bussiness or even hav an experience in it.
+what type of bussiness are taken into account.what should be
the turnover of bussiness.

Hi
I am also looking forward to join NMIMS Family Business PGDBM. But none of the things are clear. Moreover as the course is relatively new, not much of the information is availaible.

I am looking forward to share informations with like minded people.

Sandeep

when i bot the form ... i had a small chat wid the counseller for this course... the course is not approved by aicte...its an autonomous course of narsee monjee deemed university... its doesnt matter waise since u don care abt placements...the course is totally biz oriented and no placements even if u don want some field experience bfr joining family biz... and i doin think off campus placements will be ne gud cos the degree name is pgdbm(family business)...

Hi...

I am really disappointed to learn the kind of attention being given to people who wanna pursue PGDBM (Family Business) from NM vis a vis MBA full time.

There is nobody who you can share ur views with, not enuf informations availaible regarding the initials like fees and batch profile and all. The online chat link doesnt have any user who you could communicate with.

I mean if the things are going this way before admission then I dont think anything is going to get better once someone get into it.

[ Personal Opinion = Will be regretting after I join so my no for this one ]

well i applied to the course last year and got through....but didn't take it. you have to have a family business to apply. there is only one pi and admission is very easy. there r no placememts but i heard some seniors working on a placement cell(but that does not make sense to me).a second year and third year student there are my friends. the course is similar to the pgdba of NM. the fees is high comparitively 3.5 lacs-4.00 lacs.......think i will apply if i don't get anywhere else....when is the last date to buy the form?
