Hi every1!

Congrats for gettin in2 IIT M.

Since, most of us have taken our decision to join IIT M, and da curiosity amongst us 2 know more bout our batchmates is also increasing day by day....I thought of creating this thread so dat we can interact wid each other, get 2 know each other and bcome good frends even b4 we enter the campus.

I had thought of creating this thread much earlier but was 2 much scpetical bout joining
IISc or IIT M. But...after a lot of discussions and analysis....I thot dat IIT M wud b better fro a person like me..... ....due 2 my personal reasons and opinions which may differ for every1!

Neways....cumin bak 2 da point!

Every1....plz give ur intro's.....

I wud like to specially thank our seniors( Sujeet sir, syam sir, rachana ma'am) who have helped us at every stage, be it during da filling up of forms, sop's , PI etc etc.

I was using a different id. earlier(Maverick param) ...... but had 2 create a new 1 due 2 some reasons.

but bro.... u've named it as "Prospective batchmates".
Now dis community i goin 2 b thr......4ever... and after 2 months... da name prospective wud nt have its significance...
So.....if possible, u can change da name of da community to simple batchmates...

Hi Param,

The name of the Orkut community can be edited any time, so as soon our admission gets confirmed v can edit it bck 2 simple batchmates.......

how abt ths...?

meanwhile plz do inform me if u get ne mail frm doms, i got a mail 2 days before asking to send d marksheets by fax asap n tht scared me a lot......
Actually at d time of filling up d form i forgot 2 attach copy of marksheets n so at d time of interview, profs askd me 2 send it by speed post asap n i did d same n so i don no y did thy askd for it once again.

Looking for more.......

yo guys, the online site for iit m shows that i have been selected but havent got any letter till date.

could you tell me whether iitm has started sending out the admission letters and by when can i expect it?

work in office and couldn't post my reply.....Now it's weekend time and i hope all d guys are charged up to move the thread to the front page .

By the way i receiced the final call from IITM and decided to go with the offer.
