imt dubai campus

Well guys.....but i m a bit apprehensive about this dubai stuff.....
Just thinking why didnt IIMB look out for dubai first instead of singapore

Guys....pls do lots n lots of research before applying to IMT dubai...
MODS........it wud be great if u cud find out some data from your sources and post here

Thanx, that was quite reassuring. But could u tell me the reason why u think, it wud not be difficult for me to get a call? Do u have any source of info that u wud like to share? Imt ghaziabad calls students with 95 percentile up, so i was a bit sceptical whether my percentile wud be sufficient to get a call.

hey dude..

i clearly understand ur concern.
my logic is..i got 90.69..applied to imt ghaz, but at that score i got a call from imt nag. without even applying there..
imt nag is cheaper...n older than imt dubai..

moreover, the ones applying to that campus...like me..wont be having a very high percentile..coz they already ve got admissions else where..n not everyone will be willing to spend 15lakhs n more on a new campus..without any track record..

so..going by that logic..i dont see much of trouble for any decent percentiler..to get through.

the same happened with sp jain dubai in the first yr.

your opinion is more than welcome on my quote

I think I agree with u. Thanx for motivating me to apply. Just a few more queries. Do u think placements will be a problem for IMT dubai. I know IMt has very good networking in India. But how good is their networking in Dubai and will the same Indian companies that come for placements in India, come to the Dubai campus? Also their site does'nt mention any last date for applying. Do u know when is the last date 4 applying?

i dont think there is any last date of applying as of now..
the earlier u apply..the better it is..

placements wont be gr8..but wont be bad either considering Dubai factor.
at the end of the day..all will come down to the batch..

i dispatched the form today... not too confident abt IMT dubai...thr second venture nagpur is not in gud shape... gud thing is that its the first batch so extra attn on the dubai campus...plus the dubai factor... gr8 place to study... spjain dubai intrvw on 22 april...if nt tht then IMT def... no other option...don wanna drop an year. anybody else whose seriously considering IMT.... taking a look at ths thread it seems nt too many ppl interested..gettng thru shud b easy...i jst hope its wrth the 15+ lacs...
