Is everyone placed thr in IMT dubai!?

hi all,
The admissions for the IMT Dubai campus have started for Sept 2008 intake.
They have asked for GMAT / CAT score + TOEFL /IELTS.
seems like a 500+ GMAT score is enough to get a call for GD/PI.
Just wanted to know if any of you more details about the placements here.
Please let me know.

how is the placement there, when is the last date to apply, can the 150 dhms be paid in rupees also? i havent given toefl ,will they admit me

i have no clue about the placements there. But this is what they responded to my query on the TOEFL/IELTS:
"
You can either appear for TOEFL independently now and provide us the scores or alternatively we can give you provisional admission (if selected) and you will then have to clear TOEFL within first semester. I will advise you to clear the TOEFL prior to seeking admission but you can avail either of the two alternatives.
"

that means we can apply without a TOEFL /IELTS score now , but it still is mandatory.

hi...i did a mail regarding admission...i dont have passport with me right now.i have applied for it n it will take around 2 months for it...can i apply for admission with cat score of 85.85 percentile n have a call for GD Pi n give TOFEL or IELTS afterwards..

Hello dear friends, please let me know if some one knows about this IMT dubai campus, is it worth going with such kind of fee structure with almost 15 lakh 4 2 years, how is the faulty, summer placements and final placements. If industry hs sm confidence in this institute with kind of salaries the students are getting after passing out. Is it true that this intitute started in 2006, if yes then hw can i know of salary packages offered to the students

I sent the following e-mail as enquiry to admission office, and i got the following reply.

Hi,

Iam keen on applying for applying to IMT Dubai September 2008 intake. I have through your website and i have some doubts

I have given CAT and have 81 Percentile.I have 2 years work experience. Should i give IMT admission test. If i happen to give the IMT test, is that sufficient or is there any other requirements as well such as TOEFL etc.

To send the DD to IMT office (along with the filled print out of the application given at the website) , which address it should be sent ? It has not been specified explicitly. Is the following below address appropriate to send the DD.

With this CAT percentile just you have to appear for personal interview. As far as TOEFL test is concerned, it is compulsory for any international programme. The address is correct and you send your application at this address.
