Hi Everybody out there.

Yesterday was one of the happiest day of my life. got thru LIBA.
I am from Delhi. Looking ahead for great 2 years in the sprwalling campus of LIBA which has its own CRICKET, HOCKEY AND FOOTBALL GROUNDS. I hope I get time to enjoy all this from the rigorous course of pgdbm in LIBA. Tell me MIK...I wanted to do dual specialisation in marketting and Finance. I am really excited about the city of Chennai with great people and culture. The thing which I will love most is the sea beach. The only thing which concerns me is the heat of the city. I hope that can be avoided by being in the classrooms and library in the daytime. Please sing with me the spirit of LIBA and CHENNAI. Three cheers for all of us and our seniors too whoi helped us till now. HIP HIP HURRAY. HIP HIP HURRAY. HIP HIP HURRAY.

I will be in chennai on 10th of april to deposit my fees. Hope to meet u there guys specially you MIK.......

BTW: 1 ques. What is the yearly hostel fees?

hi people
jus got an email as well as the letter by snail mail today( boy are they quick) confirming my admission in LIBA!! ME=HAPPY!!

i have completed Bcom from Stella MAris and also currently finishinf final year Mcom from Madras University..

i had got a XAT percentiule of 93.. i have converted GIM GLIM and LIBA.. and i have chosen LIBA to be the destined place.. I also had calls from IMI MICA and ICFAI but other than IMI i did not attend the other intervoews... strangely enough my CAT percentile was 97.5 but i have converted the calls thru XAT only.. such is the way of life!

The thing that i am MOSt happy about though at the momment.. I DONT HAVE TO DO MATHS IN CAT AGAIN.. I hated dling it.. and quants was the reason why i did not get any "MAJOR" calls.. scored dismally in quants in both XAT and CAT.. but anyways who is to complain at the moment...

anyways hope i can get to know a few classmates thru this thread.. so ppl keep writing..

Someone here said that life strange...add one more incident to testify that mayank..
if possible we can meet in delhi itself.
i am coming to delhi on 6th april for my summers @ HUTCH,Delhi.

Believe me..chennai heat is absolutely fine..its better(atleast for me) than ahmedabad or delhi heat where its dry heat & it burns..
chennai is sultry...manageable

Play as much as u want if u can get time off & manage to gather ppl

Dual specialisation is very much possible..just dont worry..be happy & njoy.

@ Kat21 - i guess u were on 25th..right. coz i remember ur name KHATIJA,well i was the one who presented abt LIBA on 25th.
I also presented on sunday(19th) morning 9 am slot..

Hostel fees : 2300/mnth including food

usually there is no second list...
last time 20 ppl in waiting list got cleared...there is no waitin list no..

so already 2 ppl from Delhi...nice
mebbe we can meet when i come there for my summers...
